Who runs this site

Tracepod is an independent software project, not a registered company. This website is operated by the project’s maintainer. If you have any question about this policy, use the contact form.

What we collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, an optional company name, and your message. We use it for exactly one thing — replying to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t send marketing.

How the contact form works

Form submissions are delivered byWeb3Forms, which forwards your message to our inbox and states that it does not store submission contents after delivery. From then on your message lives in our email, retained only as long as the correspondence is useful. Want it deleted? Ask, and it’s gone.

Cookies and analytics

There are no analytics, no ad trackers, and no cookies. The site stores a single value in your browser’s local storage — your light/dark theme preference — and it never leaves your machine.

Hosting

The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log visitor IP addresses for security purposes; see theGitHub Privacy Statement. We have no access to, and keep no copy of, those logs.

The software is a different story — deliberately

The Tracepod sensor and CLI run entirely inside your infrastructure and phone home to nobody. Profiles, images, and SBOMs stay in your cluster and your registry. There is no telemetry in the open-source tooling.
